Design
The Blue Ridge Mountains provide an abundance of different wood species that allow us to craft your perfect vision of what your flooring should look like. Each species has distinguishable colors, grades, grains, and hardness. Visit our wood species page to browse all of the species of tree that we can perfectly craft into your new hardwood floors. If you are finding it difficult to distinguish the differences between the species, we provide free samples of all our flooring.
2. Mill
Modern day technology has transformed how we produce our product with the highest quality and up to our high standards. We are able to maximize the amount of lumber produced using high-tech lumber saws meaning less cost to you, the consumer. We set the bar high for our flooring and pride ourselves in the quality that comes out of our mill, whether it be your everyday flooring, or the most creative custom job you require.
3. Store
In order to maintain the high quality of our flooring after it is cut and dried, we utilize a 25,000 sq ft climate controlled warehouse to store the wood until your project is ready and underway. This step prevents any bending, bowing, or deforming of our cut product. We take every step necessary to provide you with the highest quality dream flooring for your home, because there’s no place like it.
4. Ship
With a product this special, we don’t just throw it on a FedEx truck and hope it reaches you in one piece. We hand deliver every order right to your doorstep to ensure a safe delivery. Once we reach you, advise our staff on where to store your new hardwood floors, straight from the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia. Our staff will unload, transport, and stack you new floors properly to keep them in their best shape until you are ready for installation.
5. Advise
After your dream floors are now at home and ready to be installed, we can help with that too. Over decades of being in this business, we know and can recommend the best installers to handle our products, and can also act as an intermediary between you and the installers. And just like that you have brand new, straight from the forest, hardwood floors. We also have recommendations on what type of finish to apply to your floors and how to care for them so they will last for generations.
